Facing growing criticism of his economic recovery plan, President-elect Barack Obama made public Saturday a detailed analysis by his economic advisers.
Bob, you're an idiot....you ignore the fact or you're in denial that this country originally was built mostly on the backs of slaves and minority labor..
what "gifts" are you referring too? racism"? "bigotry"? " "prejudice"?
"white superiority" power structure? --peel off your white hood and and answer this question.... do you wish the south had won the civil war..? "civil rights
bill of 1964 never been signed..? "desegregation"? --tell me-- because the only
"gifts" that people of your "like mind" ever offered were small pox laced blankets
to the Indians...
I wouldn't necessarily call 300+ years of slavery a gift to minorities in this country. Minorities in this country just recieved the so called gift of voting no too long ago. I would argue that minorities (women, african americans) have taken control of their own lives and are moving foward in this country at a good pace. Honestly this is exactly what conservatives are afraid of. This is why there aren't more minorities in the party. In an election year where you have an African Americn (mixed american) running for president and a white woman running for VP in the good ole boys party this should be considered them taking control of their lives.
